Will this “Pocket Park” extend along Chollas Creek to 47th Street? That area is a vacant lot that belong to the city is an eyesore with overgrown reeds that are a fire hazard. The residents in the area have been asking for a “Pocket Park” for a long time. How about giving us some help and entend the park?

Flamenco With Roots Youth Dance Company has in the past been part of the Spirit of Unity Event and many of the children live in the Diamond District so I feel that the parents of some of these children would love to see their children at the wonderful multiculture community event of Markeket Creeks Spirit of Unity .. and as for Flamenco With Roots needless to say it is a joy and an honor when we have the permission to join this community always… we are interested in being part of your event please let us know if it is still possible ?

I have left a phone message regarding participating in the community expo, but have yet to hear from anyone to confirm whether or not Project New Village could set -up a booth to (1) provide information about our programs and (2) sell gentlely used small household items and art as a fundraiser for the organization.

Hi Danielle, I am so excited you checked out our blog!
Yes we do have job opprtunities for youth. Coldstone at Market Creek Plaza will be hiring in May.You can visit them to pick up an application and speak to the manager. she does the hiring.Her name is Molly

papa johns is hiring right now. you can pick up an application at their store. since you are 15 you will need a work permit and they can only give you a certain amount of hours.

In July we start our summer series events that happen Friday, Saturday and Sunday. we will be hiring 2 to 3 interns.check back with me in June about that specific job. Good luck Danielle! Keep me posted! Hope this was helpful. Thanks again for visiting our blog…Bevelynn
